Driekoppies, Blok A & Jeppes Reef

Structure, food and social skills

When the children come out of school they are on their own – being orphaned there are no parents anymore and with that comes no structure and no food. That is why the Kids Clubs that have been developed are so vital. In Jeppesreef, Blok A and Driekoppies we have between 100 and 150 children coming every day. Here they are taken care of by women from the neighbourhood who have been specially trained for this. The kids clubs are an absolute haven for the children, they feel safe and at home. We teach the children structure, feed them and help them learn various social skills, so that they can develop positively. At the moment we are busy with a good food supply for these many orphans. We can use every bit of financial support.
